Admission requirements

Entry requirements

For entry to pathway programs at the Lynn University International Study Center you will need to meet certain academic and English language entry requirements.

The requirements you need to meet are different to direct entry to the University, providing you the opportunity to begin your studies now while improving your English language proficiency and academic skills.

 

International Year

Academic Entry Requirements

To study the International Year at Lynn you will need to provide:

  • proof of successful completion of a US secondary education or equivalent
  • with a minimum 2.5 GPA (Grade Point Average).
English Language Requirements

You will need to meet a minimum score in:

  • IELTS: 5.0
  • TOEFL: 50
 

Direct Entry to an Undergraduate Degree

If you meet the academic requirements of the University and the higher English language requirements below (or speak English as a first language), you can apply directly to an undergraduate degree program.

  • IELTS: 6.0 overall
  • TOEFL: 71
 

International Year

Pre-master's Program

To study the Pre-master's Program at the International Study Center, you will need to provide proof of academic and English language proficiency.

Academic Entry Requirements

With your application, you will need to provide:

  • proof of successful completion of a US post-secondary education equivalent to a US 4-year Bachelor's degree
  • with a minimum 2.5 GPA (Grade Point Average).
English Language Requirements

You will need to meet a minimum score in:

  • IELTS: 5.5
  • TOEFL: 60
 

Direct Entry to a Graduate Degree

If you meet the academic requirements of the University and the higher English language requirements below (or speak English as a first language), you can apply directly to a graduate degree program.

  • IELTS: 6.5 overall
  • TOEFL: 80 overall
